Package summary
Haridwar and Rishikesh sit half an hour apart and are completely different places, which is why we give each of them its own night rather than trying to do both from one hotel.
The evening aarti at Har Ki Pauri is the centre of the trip. Get there early, sit on the steps, and do not try to photograph all of it.
Rishikesh is the lighter half. Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, the Beatles ashram and, if the season allows and the group is willing, a rafting stretch from Shivpuri. We will book that separately once we know who is going in the water.
Day by day
1 Sirsa to Haridwar
A full day on the road through Haryana and into Uttarakhand. Check in, rest, then walk down to Har Ki Pauri for the evening aarti.
2 Haridwar temples
Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi in the morning, both reachable by ropeway. Afternoon at the ghats, with a second aarti if you want it.
3 On to Rishikesh
A short drive across. Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, the ashrams, and rafting from Shivpuri for anyone who booked it.
4 Rishikesh back to Sirsa
An early start for the long drive home, with a proper lunch break on the way.
